Thanks! There are several "ideas" we are looking into as to why this happened. I actually was thinking that perhaps the cities with more men at desk jobs would respond more, but that doesn't ring true here. Thanks for the idea!

Did you take into account the idea that in the smaller cities, it would be much harder to find women willing to cheat, whereas in New York there would be women everywhere. Therefore the smaller cities would have more men looking online for a cheating partner. Also, perhaps a potential cheating husband is more comfortable cheating with a woman not in his own city. Did you say which city the "woman" was in, in your ad?
